Family Callidulidae: An unusual family of moths known as "Old World Butterfly-moths. Callidulids are a family of butterfly like moths which are distributed throughout southeast Asia and Oceania. Callidulids can exhibit both day and night flying behavior and typically hold their wings over thier backs like butterflies. Thier closest relatives are know truly known but they are thought to be close to hook-tip and geometer moths.

Shrike-like Laniisoma (Laniisoma elegans)
Also known as the elegant mourner or the shrike-like cotinga, the shrike-like laniisoma is a species of bird in the family Tityridae that is found in the Atlantic forest of eastern Brazil and forests in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia as well. Shrike-like laniisomas typically inhabit montane and lowland forests and will feed on small insects supplemented by pulpy fruit. They will feed in both the canopy and understory and sometimes will associate with mixed-species flocks.
