Family Polioptilidae: A family of passerine birds commonly known as "Gnatcatchers". All gnatcatchers are native to the New World, being found in both North and South America. Gnatcatchers are close relatives of the wrens and some species are known as "Gnatwrens".

White Witch (Thysania agrippina)

Also known as the Birdwing Moth, Ghost Moth, Great Grey Witch and the Great Owlet Moth, the white witch is a large species of Noctuid moth that occurs in Mexico, Central and South America but occasionally appears as far north as Texas. The white witch is considered to be the lepidopteran with the largest wingspan, with individuals sporting impressive 31 cm wingspans. White witch larvae likely feed on members of Fabaceae, Senna and Cassia. Although this has not yet been confirmed.
